"When I lived in Baltimore we loved going to Haussner's Restaurant noted for the great German food, fresh seafood, and a collection of fine art. Everyone received a tiny plate of corn salad along with the menu. For years I've been trying to duplicate the salad. Close but never the same. Two weeks ago I did another google search and found one that seems to be the same in flavor. Two new ingredients were sugar and water. Made a small bowl this morning to serve as a side. My favorite entree was two halve lobster tails & cra combo followed by the re-known Strawberry P"
Ingredients:
- 1 - 15 oz can corn (I use an ear or two left over cooked ears of frest corn)

- 1/2 cup diced red pepper
- 1/3 cup diced sweet onion
- 3 Tbs. cider vinegar
- 2 Tbs suga
- 1 Tbs olive oil

- Black pepper & salt
Preparation:

You can add cherry tomato halves or a cut up tomato. I can see adding a number of other items to taste.
