Lesley's Pasta with English Peas

Pasta with English Peas, etc., etc.


Sizzle some diced bacon or ham in a skillet- set aside.

Bring a large pot of water to boiling. Blanch separately the shelled English peas and chopped broccolini and broccoli. Scoop each out and set aside.

In same pot of water, prepare pasta of choice. I used Farfalle. Reserve one cup of pasta cooking water. Drain pasta in colander.

In the pasta pot, make a quick sauce using cream, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and some of the reserved pasta water. I also added some of the herbed goat cheese from my cheese share.

Warm gently. Add pasta and vegetables and toss, using more pasta water if needed. Add lots of cracked pepper and reserved bacon. Serve.
