I was just on my Facebook page and found this from VeggieGardening. There were several discussions around the table this summer about the amount of corn we received and what to do with it. When it was suggested to some about freezing it or making chowder, I think it was felt that it took too long to remove the corn from the cobs.
When I saw this, I wondered what you all thought.

I don't think I would bother with this as there seems to be such waste left on the cob. I found it quite simple to put the ear of corn in a large bowl and just use a knife to remove the corn. What do you think? Why not post your comments below.
