Hello CSA'ers! You May have notice that I am not around any longer. I am the one with the weird hair usually working at the 2/3 share line and sharing Brookes contagious laughter.
I Have moved back to my home state, beautiful Maine. It is great to be back here now, but I miss everyone at the CSA. Brooke and Brad of course, and all the familiar faces that I never forgot but took a summer and a winter to remember their names. Also, all the new folks I will miss as well. I feel very lucky to have known Laura in the short time I did.. She and everyone in the CSA are truly inspirational people!
I am very proud and lucky to have stumbled across this CSA program.. Infact, before this I didn't really know what a CSA was! Now I know, and it is a very important concept I feel for the local people everywhere. It provides awareness and solidarity among the community and their food source which is a beautiful and simple thing that is rare these days. That's what being a human being is all about! You - the share holders- that have taken the interest in a CSA have made us one step closer to a happier community.
With that said let me just say one more time how happy I am to have been part of this CSA. Though I only saw your faces once a week for all of maybe five minutes I really feel I have gotten to know everyone. Even the quiet ones.
I will be in touch and sharing recipes even though it's going to take some getting used to on my part- blogging is a new experience for me. So, this isn't the last of me.
I wish nothing less then happy, healthy futures for everyone, and have a great rest of your year!
Much love
